This Andy Wasserman original composition for solo piano resonates the essence of a poem entitled "Story Water." The flowing, running soundtrack - inspired by the Prelude movement of "Le tombeau de Couperin" by Maurice Ravel - is set to time-lapse video sequences of water in nature.
The intention behind the music and photographic video imagery is to give the viewer a sense of being refreshed and purified with water. Perhaps it will feel like a peaceful, internal cleansing through your ears and eyes.
Wasserman performed this piece in one take with no overdubbing on a classic vintage Steinway and Sons grand piano. Recorded and mastered by Skip Tullen at Tullen Sound Recording Studios.
